Gullible

So Daniel may kill me for posting this, but he doesn't know I have a blog - so I am safe for now.

Anyway, I never considered myself to be a gullible person, I always thought I had common sense and I didn't fall for things easily. Oh how wrong I was, one thing I learnt from skyping the three South Africans is that I am naive, gullible and just a complete fool. Every opportunity these guys get, they make an utter fool out of me, for example, while skyping I can see my curtains in the computer and one of them will say "why are your curtains open?" or "what is behind you?" and I will actually turn round to see what is behind me.

BUT.... the most gullible moment was during this skype session with Dan, while he was eating some chicken. So after saying how good the chicken was, he says to me "yes I caught this chicken myself," and I am amazed, I'm like, "REALLY?!? WOW!" Daniel continues, saying how in South Africa everyone has chickens and you catch them and kill them yourself, me listening in awe, I am like "That's a life skill, you have to teach me when I come ou there in August." And Daniel keeps going, saying yeah you have to kill them and everything and I'm genuinely believing this, this probably went on for a good 15 minutes. Until finally he just looked at me and said you are so gullible Leah.

So that's something I learnt after WSF. I am very very gullible and too trusting!
