How I nearly died at WSF 2010....twice!

Firstly, sorry that I have not updated in a while or been able to skype - my laptop blew up and I had to order some new parts to fix it.

Anyway, some of you guys may not know this, and it was Michael who actually reminded me about this and I thought it would be fun to share :) It happened on the Saturday night at WSF, when our hosts took us out for the night. My host, Harrison, Ali and Michael and his host all went on a boat trip around Seoul. So the six of us were just talking and laughing and then suddenly Michael says something funny and I throw my head backwards laughing, only to have my gum that I was chewing to get stuck in my throat!!!

So I am choking, practically dying and the 5 boys just sit there and stare at me laughing. Michael argues that I was choking gracefully so it didn't think I needed help, but I was trying not to spit everywhere (especially as I was trying to impress him that night!) So in the end I had to save myself... but an hour or so later I had another close encounter with death!

The boat trip had ended and we raced off the boat and Harrison, my host and Michae's host bought Ali, Michael and myself these fireworks that shot out of sticks (which were AMAZING!) So we are having an awesome time playing with this firework sticks and once all my fireworks had shot from my stick I started playing around and waving the stick. However, I flicked ash into my eyes and it felt like my eyes were burning! This time the guys came over and patted me on the back and made sure I was ok.

Nevertheless, since that night this seems to happen to me a lot. I will be talking to Michael on skype and he will say something just as I am drinking some water. So everyone, I know you aren't as mean as Michael, please don't say something funny while I am drinking - otherwise you will have to watch me choke to death on Skype!
